St. Francis Area Schools invites families, staff, students, and community members to help shape the future of the district facilities and other important needs through two important opportunities: a district-wide survey and a short-term community engagement task force.

District-wide Survey (Closes October 20)

The survey is a key part of a community-led process to evaluate facility needs. Responses will identify strengths and challenges, guide future priorities, and provide valuable input for both the task force and the School Board. All responses are confidential, and every perspective is important.

Every household in the district will receive a postcard with survey information; however, community members are encouraged to complete the survey any time at: https://bit.ly/sfas-survey

Community Engagement Task Force (Sign up by October 17)

The district is also forming a short-term community engagement task force of parents, students, staff, and community members to take a deeper look at facilities and other important needs. The group will meet regularly this fall to learn, discuss, and provide input to the School Board.

“This task force is not about predetermined outcomes,” said Superintendent Karsten Anderson. “It’s about listening, sharing perspectives, and working together so the School Board can make informed decisions that reflect the values and priorities of our community.”

Those interested can sign up to join the community engagement task force at: https://bit.ly/sfas-taskforce

Commitment to Community Voice

Participation in one or both of these opportunities will play an important role in shaping the future of St. Francis Area Schools. The district extends its thanks in advance to families, students, staff, and residents for taking the time to share their perspectives.

Community input remains central to ensuring that facility decisions reflect the values and priorities of the entire St. Francis Area Schools community.
