The St. Francis Saints Cross Country team ran in the conference meet Tuesday at Chisago Lakes.
Leading the girls varsity team was Anniston Rolf (8th grade) with a 6th place finish in a time of 19:06.3 for the 5k course and earned All-Conference Honors. She also beat her own school record once again. Seniors Amber Lawrence (14th place) and Ali Aanenson (17th place) also earned All-Conference Honors. As a team, the girls varsity placed 6th.
For the boys varsity, 7th grader Ryder Mold led the Saints with a 25th place finish and a time of 17:38 for the 5k race, earning All-Conference Honorable Mention honors. As a team the boys varsity placed 6th.
In JV, 7th grader AJ Patten led the team with a 15th place finish in a time of 20:23 and the boys team placed 8th. In the girls JV race, Maddy Jungbauer (grade 7) led the Saints with a time of 23:40 and earned 8th place. We had no team score for girls JV.
In middle school, Jacob Savaguae (7th grade) was the first Saint to finish in a time of 13:14 for the 2-mile race and was in 15th place. The boys MS team placed 6th. For the middle school girls, Maya Tolle (7th grade) placed 23rd with a time of 17:41. We had no team score.
