At the Nov. 12 St. Francis Area Schools (SFAS) School Board meeting, the School Board unanimously approved the canvassing returns of votes in the general election held Nov. 5.
Voters within the attendance boundaries of SFAS were asked to select four candidates from a pool of 10. Candidates Jake Humphrey, Rob Schoenrock, Andrea Anson and Chad Working, having the highest number of votes, were elected to fill the four open seats.
Elected board members will take office on the first Monday of January 2025 and serve a four-year term until January 2029.
Approved election results are as follows:
Candidate Jake Humphrey: 6,928 votes
Candidate Rob Schoenrock: 5,699 votes
Candidate Andrea Anson: 4,986 votes
Candidate Chad Working: 4,944 votes

Candidate Ashley R Metz: 4,182 votes
Candidate Jeff Blake: 3,945 votes
Candidate Kwadwo Osei: 3,563 votes
Candidate Karen Costello: 3,378 votes

Candidate Write-in: 215 votes
Canvassing includes the statement that the general election was in all respects duly and legally called and held. The results of the election were certified to the county auditors of Anoka and Isanti counties.
